This policy explains how Vantage Roof Repairs handles your personal information. In short: we use it to quote for and carry out roofing work, and nothing else. We do not sell it, and we do not share it with anyone who is not involved in your job.

- Your area or Eircode and the address of the property
- What you tell us about the roof, and any photos you send
- Photographs of the roof taken during the inspection and the work

How we use it and why
To answer your enquiry, arrange an inspection, prepare a quote, carry out the work, invoice you and deal with any questions or guarantee claims afterwards. The legal basis is that you have asked us to take steps towards a contract with you, and, once work goes ahead, to perform that contract. We keep invoices and job records because the law requires it.
The quote form
When you send the quote form on this website, your answers are passed to Web3Forms, a form delivery service, which emails them to us. Web3Forms acts on our behalf only to deliver the message. If you would rather not use the form, ring or WhatsApp us instead.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not go ahead are deleted within 12 months. Records of completed work, including invoices and guarantees, are kept for six years for tax and warranty purposes.
Who else sees it
Only the people carrying out or accounting for your job, and the services we use to run the business, such as our email provider and Web3Forms. If you contact us through WhatsApp, the message is also held by WhatsApp under its own terms. We never sell or rent your details.
Cookies and analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use this website, for example which pages are read and whether the phone or quote buttons are used, so we can improve it. Google Analytics only loads if you press Accept on the cookie banner. It sets cookies named _ga and _ga_ZHNLRT6769, which last up to two years, and Google processes the data on our behalf with IP addresses shortened. We do not use advertising cookies. You can change your choice at any time with the Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page.
The site also stores two small notes in your browser that are not used for tracking: your cookie choice, and a flag so the opening animation only plays once per visit. Some content is loaded from other providers: fonts from Google Fonts, animation code from cdnjs and jsDelivr, and the map on our contact page from Google Maps, which may set its own cookies. These providers receive your device’s IP address so they can deliver that content.
Your rights
Under GDPR you can ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it, or object to how we use it. Email vantageroofingdublin@gmail.com or ring 087 466 6010 and we will deal with it within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Data Protection Commission at dataprotection.ie.
